| Carrbrook angling club has a single water,
in Greater Manchester. The water locally know as the Rainwater, it
is on the grounds of an old power station. The land is due for regeneration,
developers are expected too create a golf driving range and a equestrian
center. The water is stream fed from the local golf course, and has
a large population of wild life, it has a large and varied stock of
fish. The largest recorded fish, is a mirror carp at 26lb. The water
is rich in natural food and is used all year round, with a bailiff
who patrols the water on a daily basis. The local anglers have spent
a lot of time and effort to make this water what it is, and anyone
joining this water, would be impressed at the standard of the water
and its suroundings. |
